I-General situation

Considering that this sector has contributed to support the national economy, the Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Prey Veng will make it easier for the office to carry out practical activities on Tuesday. II-Animal situation

Animal situation in Prey Veng province includes: 365,525 cows, 17,648 buffaloes, 105 horses, 31,061 pigs, 86 sheep, 2577 goats, 2,938,933 chickens and 1,076,326 ducks.

1-Veterinary work

1.1-Public health work

Experts inspect pre-slaughter animals after slaughter and spray pesticides at slaughterhouses to ensure the quality and safety of meat for regular consumers at slaughterhouses and stalls.

1.2-Exports of bird eggs

Exports of 45,000 bird eggs.

1.3-Veterinary work

Inspected and treated 8 sick buffaloes in Tbong Wat village, Krabao commune, Kamchay Mear district and continued monitoring (suspected water sickness).

2-Production work

Inspected the biogas in Kampong Soeng commune, Tamao village, there are 13 biogas, 4 used biogas, 2 biogas, abandoned 7 biogas and Chrey commune, Meng Leu village, 7 biogas, 5 used biogas, 1 damaged biogas and 1 discontinued biogas . In Menong Krom village, 3 biogas stopped using all 3 biogas.
